On Monday, May 9 at 9:15 a.m., Professor Jan Eeckhout (Universitat Pompeu Fabra) imparted the webinar “The paradox of benefits”. The webinar, organized by the Jean Monnet Module on Economic and Financial System and Regional Development (EUFIREG) of the University of Cantabria, was followed through Microsoft Teams.
Professor Eeckhout is one of the world’s leading references and experts, among other issues, in the analysis of market power and its economic implications. Among his multiple academic publications, his articles stand out in the top-5 of academic economics journals (American Economic Review, Econometrica, Journal of Political Economy, Quarterly Journal of Economics and Review of Economic Studies), as well as the book The Profit Paradox.
