Class on Next Generation EU funds at IES la Albericia

On April 28, the student of the Master’s Degree in Secondary Teacher Training, Miguel Ángel Sanz Mata, gave a class on the Next Generation EU funds at the IES la Albericia (Santander), as part of the activities carried out in our Jean Monnet EUFIREG Module . He was accompanied by professors Lorea Romero and Ángela Saiz, members of the EUFIREG team, who contributed to the preparation and organization of the activity.

The class, in which fifteen 1st year high school students and their Economics teacher, María Lourdes Bueno Calvo, took part, addressed the subject of Next Generation funds, following the format and contents of a practical class at the University, similar to the ones taught in the subjects that are part of the Jean Bonnet Module. After providing some theoretical notes, Miguel Ángel proposed a practical activity in which the students had to pretend that they were an SME company and seek the aid financed by the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism that they could apply for in our autonomous community, Cantabria. The activity had an experiential and interactive character, and the students participated enthusiastically.
