The course provides tools to understand and analyze the international economic and financial system, with special mention to the European financial system. The analysis focuses on the fundamental elements of the financial system: financial intermediaries, financial markets (money and capital) and financial media, institutions and policies.
The course offers open materials based on the content of the subject ‘Economic and Financial System’, taught in the third year of the Degree in Economics at the University of Cantabria, and included within the Jean Monnet Module in Economic and Financial System and Development Regional (EUFIREG).
